On Sunday, we learned about how the parable of the Good Samaritan shows us how to love others. We need to see the need, feel the need, and then meet the need quickly. The flooding across our state is providing lots of opportunity for us to live this out. The need for relief and recovery is going to be ongoing, and we are anticipating months of work. To volunteer with flood relief, please text ARFLOOD to 88000.

As the floods continue to impact our state, New Life Church has responded both in action and in donation. Thank you, NLC Cabot, for being a part of that response! There are some immediate needs if you want to donate. Donations can be dropped under the awning on the children's side of the NLC Cabot building from 7AM-6PM Monday-Friday. If you want to serve, please text ARFLOOD to 88000. There will be ongoing efforts over the next few months as our state recovers.

Planning for the future is hard when you’re still paying for the past! Listen —there’s a better way! Financial Peace University starts this Sunday at 2PM at NLC Cabot. Come learn how to beat debt and make a plan for the future . . . together!

Who’s excited about summertime?! We want you to have a great summer, and one of the best ways to do that is to stay connected! Tomorrow after each service you’ll have a chance to sign up for summer Life Groups and Serve Groups. And to celebrate summer groups, we’ll have the Kona Ice truck out with shaved ice for purchase!

As the floodwaters continue to rise across Arkansas, the unity and strength of our state has been amazing! Please continue to pray with us as we wait expectantly for the waters in this area of the country to recede.

We are experiencing historic flooding this week in Arkansas. Please join us in praying for all of those effected by the floods: • pray for the levees to hold • pray for the rain to hold off in flooding areas • pray for those displaced and whose homes and land have been affected

On Sunday, we talked about the condition of our heart. Is your heart hardened, shallow, distracted, or ready? Let’s strive to be ready for God to use our lives to impact people for Him!

Today, we honor and remember those who have given their lives for our nation. We are forever grateful for their sacrifice.

We loved spending Easter with you last weekend! Jesus coming to earth to restore relationship with us is one of our favorite things to celebrate. We also love celebrating when people put their faith in Him and go public with their faith through water baptism. Are you ready to take that step? You’re invited to Easter at New Life Church! Each service will be filled with worship and a celebration of Jesus and the salvation He has offered to us.
